HBO Mare of Easttown - Trailer
In a suburb of Philadelphia, police detective Mare Sheehan investigates the recent murder of a teenage mother while trying to keep her own life from falling apart. Mare is a local hero, having been the star of a high-school basketball championship game 25 years ago. She has also been unable to solve the case of another missing young girl for a year, leading many in the community to doubt her detective skills. Her personal troubles include a divorce, a son lost to suicide, and a custody battle with her ex-heroin addict former daughter-in-law over Mare's grandson.
In this trailer I have edited the footage, completed audio correction and created the motion graphic text for the intro and outro.
The Hedgehog Dilemma - Short Film
is a short film I wrote, directed and edited during my semester abroad in Philadelphia. We follow the story of a lonely young man, whose sensitive nature has prevented him from finding companionship.
Moonrise - Music Video
This is a music video I edited for a Galway based band, JANAJ, who released their single 'Moonrise' in early 2019.
This music video narrates the story of two lovers who have nothing but each other.
Angels in America - Promotional Video
This is an example of many promotional videos I co-directed, shot and edited for the Drama Society at NUI Galway. During my studies, I took part in the college society and began merging my love for film-making with theatre by creating behind-the-scenes videos, production trailers and interview pieces.
It won 'Best Promotional Video 2019/20' at the NUIG societies award ceremony in April 2020.
Kipps' Galway Debute - News Package
This is an example of a news package I created for our show, The Galway Pulse, during my MA at NUIG.
I covered a story on Galway University Musical Society's 20th annual show 'Kipps: The Half-sixpence Musical', which made its Irish debut in February 2020.
